DescriptionThe small, round, two-piece hatbox has a base covered with black paper printed in blue ink with white highlights depicting various Connecticut landmarks including: the State Capitol, the State Supreme Court Building, the Congregational Church, the State House designed by Bulfinch, the Travelers Insurance Company, the Tower of Trinity Chapel and the Horace Bushnell Memorial Hall. Printed in black ink on blue paper on the lid; "G.FOX & CO. / HARTFORD - CONNECTICUT / Serving Connecticut / Since 1847".
