DescriptionWoman's pillbox-style hat made of shaded brown fur. The hat is topped with a fur covered button. The back of the hat is slightly deeper then the front. The hat is lined with emerald green synthetic fabric that has been embossed with a damask-like floral design. The inside of the rim is edged with dark brown grosgrain ribbon. Two small brown plastic combs are attached with elastic to the sides for fastening the hat to the hair. A woven tape label is stitched to the ribbon: "G. FOX & CO. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT."
