DescriptionRound black hatbox with blue lid and blue cord handle. The bottom of the hatbox is covered in black paper printed with images of Hartford outlined in blue and highlighted in white. The sites are identified in blue script around the base of the box: "G. Fox & Company - Established 1847 - Old State House designed by Bulfinch - Travelers Insurance Company - Tower of Trinity Chapel - Horace Bushnell Memorial Hall - Connecticut Building - Congregational Church of Farmington - Aetna Life Insurance Co. and Affiliates"; both the lid and the base of the hatbox are covered with blue paper printed in black ink with: "G. FOX & CO. / HARTFORD - CONNECTICUT / Serving Connecticut / since 1847".
