DescriptionBoy's straw hat made from decorative braided straw with sage green cording used as a decoration. The upturned brim is 1 5/8 inch all around. The oval-shaped crown is approximately five inches wide, 5 3/4 inches long, and 2 3/4 inches high. In the center of the top of the crown is a button, 7/8 inch in diameter, covered in green silk to match the cording. Six loops of silk cording decorate the crown, the loops being attached around the base of the crown. There is a tassel of the silk on the proper left, between the brim and crown. The headband is made of a light blue twill-woven fabric. The paper lining for the top is stitched under the upper edge of the headband.
