DescriptionTwo rubber stamps that look identical, except that one stamp is slightly smaller than the other. Both are made of a light weight wood. The black painted handle extends upward perpendicular to the top of the base. In white lettering on the front, the handles both read "STATE/ STAMP/ WORKS/ HARTFORD". The base of the stamps are painted red on the top and back. The front is a cream-yellow color. Both stamps have brown lettering here; one reads "RESTRICTED/ SECURITY INFORMATION" and the smaller one reads "SECURITY INFORMATION/ CONFIDENTIAL". This text is what appears on the rubber bottom of the stamp. The raised letters on the rubber bottom are now stained with black ink from having been used.
