DescriptionGirl's dress of red cotton sateen, with a high, round neckline and a one-inch high band collar. The bodice is plain. The leg-o'-mutton sleeves are gathered and full from the shoulder to the elbow. They are constructed of two pieces and are tight from the elbow to the wrist. The waistline is piped. The skirt is gathered all around the waistline. The back of the bodice is constructed with curved side back seams. The center back opening extends 21 1/2 inches; it fastens with twelve tagua nut ("vegetable ivory") buttons carved to resemble roses. The bodice is lined with plain, white cotton.
