DescriptionMaid's uniform apron of white cotton dotted Swiss. The apron has a rounded shape; it is edged with a 2 1/2-inch-wide scalloped ruffle, which has an embroidered border of white dots. It is stitched smoothly into the 1 3/8-inch-wide waistband. The bib is a narrow wedge shape, edged with self-fabric strips extending to become the straps which go over the shoulder and pin to the waistband in back. These straps, which are 31 inches long from the top of the bib, are machine chain-stitched with a flat application of the scalloped and embroidered edging. The waist ties are accordian-folded into the ends of the waistband. They are 30 1/4 inches long.
