Booths, cabinets, tables, a telephone booth, oven, broiler, refrigerators, sink, counter, steam table, serving table, and toilets are identified. The basement includes a check room, storage, and additional toilets.
NotesHistorical Notes: The firm of John J. McMahon & Russell F. Hills executed these architecural plans for the renovations of Shannon's Restaurant at 41 Webster Street, Hartford, Connecticut, on 31 January 1946 and revised them on 11 September 1946. Eugene Schiavone was the proprietor of Shannon's Restaurant.The drawings were enclosed in a wrapper labeled "FIRE DEPT. PLANS" and may have been executed to illustrate compliance with fire safety codes. (Finlay 5/30/2003)
