DescriptionA round medal or lucky charm given to members of the Aetna Early Settlers Society. The front of the charm has the Aetna logo in the center with "MEMBER EARLY SETTLERS SOCIETY/ 1922" inscribed around the edge. The reverse side has a four-leaf clover relief in the background with text over it. The inscribed text says, "LET THIS LUCKY/ POCKET PIECE/ BE WITH YOU ALWAYS/ AND SERVE AS A/ REMINDER THAT THE/ PRICE OF SUCCESS/ IS KEEPING/ EVERLASTINGLY/ AT IT."
NotesSubject Note: The Aetna Early Settlers Society was started by Charles H. Remington, vice-president of the Aetna Life and Affiliated Companies in Hartford, Connecticut. Aetna insurance agents qualify for membership by meeting quotas and conducting direct advertising.
