DescriptionA badge for the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of Connecticut. The badge has two pieces connected by three chain links. The top piece is a gold bar with a black enamel background. "CONNECTICUT" is inscribed in the center with Maltese crosses on either side. There is a crown on top of the bar with "1827" inscribed. The bottom piece is a star with double pointed ends with round tips. In the center of the badge, raised, is the emblem of the Knights Templar. At the top of the bottom piece is the Connecticut state seal.
