DescriptionA National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, Connecticut Chapter membership badge originally owned by Florence S. Marcy Crofut. At the top of the badge is a gold bar in the shape of a banner with "CONNECTICUT" inscribed. A yellow and light blue striped ribbon is suspended from the top bar. A square-shaped medallion is suspended from the ribbon. The medallion has a circular center with a relief image of a woman dressed in Victorian-era clothing. Shooting stars with a gold tail and light blue stars are emerging from the circular part of the badge. An eagle is perched at the top of the medallion. The badge owner's name is engraved on the reverse side of the medallion.
