DescriptionA cotton and polyester blend, long-sleeved men's x-large sweatshirt. Sweatshirt is gray with blue, white, and red printing on the front. Printed in blue with white shadowing is "CONNECTICUT/ 2001." Printed in red with black shadowing is "A Football Odyssey." Beneath the text is the logo for the New England Patriots football team. The Champion logo is on the wearer's left sleeve. On the back of the sweatshirt, printed in blue with white shadowing is "COMING SOON/ TO A STADIUM NEAR YOU." The New England Patriots football team logo is beneath the lettering. Original tag is still attached to the sweatshirt's tag. Paper tags indicate that the sweatshirt is an official Team NFL product. One of the tags has the store price sticker from Bob's Store. The original price was $24.99 and the clearance price was $15.00.

NotesObject Note: According to the donor, the sweatshirt was purchased deeply discounted at Bob's Stores in Waterbury, Conn. after the Patriots owner, Bob Kraft, decided to keep the team in Massachusetts in 1998.
Subject Note: In 1998, Hartford, Connecticut was chosen to be the new home of the Patriots football team. The state was planning to build a $374 million stadium in downtown Hartford for the team. On April 30, 1999, Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, decided to not move the team to Connecticut, and instead moved the team to Massachusetts, where they are known as the New England Patriots.On View
