DescriptionThree badges and two pins originally belonging to Samuel R. Terrell.
(.1) A badge with a gold bar at the top and a ribbon suspended from the bar. The ribbon is white with a red medical cross in the center. A round metal and plastic piece is suspended from the ribbon. On the front side is a black and white image of a man. The reverse side has a color image of the Connecticut state seal.

(.2) A medal for the Grand Army of the Republic (G. A. R.). At the top is an eagle perched on two crossed cannons. An American flag ribbon is suspended from the eagle piece and attached to a five pointed star. The front side of the star has the emblem of the Grand Army of the Republic. The reverse side of the star has various symbols.

(.3) A keychain attachment with a ring around the perimeter. In the center is a color image of the emblem of the Grand Republic of the Army.

(.4) A medal for the Womans Relief Corps. At the top is a bar with "F C L" interwoven in the center. A red, white, and blue ribbon is suspended from the top bar. A cross-like shape is suspended from the ribbon and has a relief image of the G. A. R. emblem in the center and "WOMANS/ RELIEF/ CORPS" around the logo.

(.5) A pin for the Womans Relief Corps. Pin is the same shape as the medal, but "F. C. L." is inscribed in the center of the pin.
NotesHistorical Note: Samuel R. Terrell of Plymouth, Conn. served in the Second Regiment C. V. Heavy Artillery, Company D during the Civil War from 1862-1865.
