DescriptionA souvenir medal from the Soldiers Monument Dedication in New Haven, Conn. on June 17, 1887. There is an eagle perched on two crossed cannons. The eagle is attached to a round medal, which has a relief image of the Soldiers Monument in the center. The reverse side has a relief image of the City of New Haven's seal.
