DescriptionA medal for the 14th Annual Encampment of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, hosted by the Department of Connecticut Veterans of Foreign Wars in June 1934. Above the top bar is an eagle with spread wings. The top bar has a red background with gold text that says "DISTINGUISHED/ GUEST." A dark maroon ribbon separates the top piece and the medal. The medal is a teardrop shape. At the top of the medal is a relief image of the State Capitol building in Hartford. Beneath that image is a pathway and the emblem of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
