DescriptionA badge worn by a Connecticut delegate at an unidentified convention held in Philadelphia in 1887. The badge has a gold colored metal at the very top, which has some detailing around the edges. The satin ribbons are connected to the bar. The dark yellow ribbon is on the bottom and on the bottom says, "CONNECTICUT/ 1887./ PHILADELPHIA." There is a long, gold tassel hanging from the bottom of the yellow ribbon. The second ribbon, on top of the yellow ribbon, is maroon and is shorter. It has the seal of Connecticut in gold and has a string of tassels hanging from the bottom of it.
