DescriptionA badge for the 125th Anniversary of the Governor's Foot Guard, organized in 1771. The top of the badge has a pin on the verso and on the recto, inscribed is "125TH/ ANNIVERSARY." The ribbon is red on the left and gold on the right. It hangs between the top bar and the bottom piece. The ribbon has silver lettering that says, "1771/ 1896." There is a medallion style object at the bottom of the ribbon. Inscribed on it, it says, "ORGANIZED/ 1771/ GOVERNOR'S FOOT GUARD/ QUI TRANSTULIT SUSTINET."
NotesHistorical Note: The Governor's Foot Guard is an established military troop that has discontinued active duty, but remains as a historical body.
