DescriptionA badge for the Patrons of Husbandry, 1873 fraternal group. The top bar has a relief image of a plow with a banner flying above, inscribed with "BY THIS WE THRIVE." There is an American flag between the top bar and the medal. The bottom piece has two six-pointed stars stacked on each other. The bottom star has letters on each point, and the top star has symbols on each point.
NotesHistorical Note: The National Grange of The Order of Patrons of Husbandry, founded in 1867, is a fraternal organization advocating for rural communities and agriculture in the United States.
