DescriptionThree Hartford Police Department uniform patches with a gray background and yellow embroidery. "HARTFORD POLICE" is embroidered at the top with an eagle and the City of Hartford Seal insigna beneath. Beneath the insignia "POST PHOEBUS/ NUBILA" is embroidered, which means “after clouds, the sun," and is the city of Hartford's motto.
