DescriptionDaguerreotype of Jane Wells, the sister of Mary (Maria) Wells Pendleton. She is a young woman in the photograph and has her hair tied up with ribbons. She is wearing a dress with a brroch in the center. The dress just covers her collarbones. The red velvet pad is embossed with a vased plant in an oval. The wooden case is no longer attached at the hinge.
