DescriptionBlanket made from material from Jemima Howard's wedding dress. Jemima Howard married Joshua Talcott on 7 December 1773 in Bolton, Conn. They are the grandparents of Horace Wells. Horace Wells is the son of Tirzah Talcott (daughter of Jemima Howard and Joshua Talcott) and Oliver Wells. Inscription on blanket verso in red embriodery thread with the description of the blanket's history. The blanket recto has a cream background with red flowers as decoration.
