DescriptionMan's dressing jacket of wool printed with a paisley design in blue, black, orange, gold, and pink on a red ground. The jacket has a notched collar; the revers can be buttoned under the collar if desired. The center front opening extends the length of the jacket and fastens with six covered buttons on the proper right side; the buttonholes are hand-stitched. The two-piece sleeves have seams at the top and under the arms; the top seams have a 1 1/4-inch finished slit at the wrist openings. The proper right sleeve is eased into the armscye, while the left sleeves is set in smoothly. The armscyes are piped. The side seams are slightly curved from the armscye towards the back. The shoulder seams are dropped in the back. The jacket body is lined with twill-woven cotton, printed in a black and red printed checked design. The sleeves are lined with pink silk.
