DescriptionGirl's dress of pink and white woven plaid, with a high, round neckline which is bound in self-fabric. The bodice is gathered vertically from the shoulderline (which is dropped) to the waist, about five inches across the center front and again across the center of the waistline in back. A bias strip of self-fabric, edged with piping, is stitched horizontally between the shoulders, over the gathering, in front and back. The shoulderline, armscye, and inside sleeve seams are piped. The leg-o'-mutton sleeves are very full at the top of the arm, strongly curved at the elbow, and tight along the forearm. The wrist openings are piped. The skirt is gathered very full around the 1 1/2-inch-wide waistband. The dress opens at center back for a length of about fifteen inches and fastens with brass hooks and eyes. The bodice is lined with plain white cotton. The bottom of the skirt is also lined for a depth of 2 5/8 inches.
