DescriptionMan's shirt of white cotton with a band collar. The center front placket opening fastens with three white porcelain buttons. The armscyes are reinforced with a two-inch-wide lining. The shoulders are also lined, extending about ten inches down the back. Each sleeve is slightly full, being stitched smoothly into the armscye and gathered at the back of the wrist where it is sewn into the one-inch-wide cuff. The cuff fastens with a single white porcelain button. The front and back panels of the shirt curve up at the side seams, which are open for about nine inches from the bottom edge. The buttonholes are hand-stitched.
