NotesSubject Note: A newspaper clipping accompanying the photograph identifies the following men in the second row, left ot right: Governor Ralph A. Carr of Colorado, former President Herbert Hoover, Governor Raymond E. Baldwin (with pipe), Republican National Committeeman Samuel F. Pryor, Jr., and Lawrence Richey, secretary to Hoover. Raymond E. Baldwin was Governor of Connecticut from 1939-1941 and from 1943-1946. Samuel F. Pryor, Jr., served on the Republican National Committee from 1936-1941.
