DescriptionViews of the members and equipment of the Hartford Fire Department, including: ladder truck Four; engines Eight and Fourteen; rescue truck One; a tower ladder; several firemen and a female firefighter, most wearing uniforms, some with full gear and fire helmets; a group of firefighters after a fire, with one fireman holding a small boy; two firemen on a roof; a group of firemen outside their station with trucks, most wearing uniforms; a fire at a three-story brick building with a fireman on a ladder from a truck being raised to the third floor; a fire at a two story brick building with flames coming from a window and near the front door, and a lot of smoke; also firemen in the street. Engine Fourteen is seen on Main Street, Hartford, by the old G. Fox and Company and Brown Thompsen buildings, now respectively Capitol Community College and a Residence Inn hotel.
