DescriptionMan's dress shirt with a heavily starched plastron front and narrow band collar with buttonholes worked at center front and back for using studs to attach a separate, starched collar. The shirt has a center back placket opening, which extends 14 1/4 inches. An eyelet for a decorative stud is worked in the center of the chest on the plastron front, and a single vertical pleat is stitched up the center front of the plastron. The long sleeves end in 1 3/4-inch-wide cuffs which are worked with buttonholes on both sides for taking a stud. The front and back panels of the shirt are curved at the side seams. The back panels of the shirt are gathered into the shoulder yoke.
