DescriptionCream-colored ribbed silk slippers, with flat soles and square toes. The throatline is also square. The instep is decorated with a matching color silk rosette over lace, with a small mother of pearl buckle in the center. The slippers are cut without a center back seam, just two side seams. The upper is lined with white kid leather in the quarters and with plain-woven linen or glazed cotton in the vamp. The throatline is bound with cream-colored silk tape. The sock lining is leather. A long loop of narrow tape is stitched to either side of the throatline. The soles are straight.
