DescriptionView of a city on a river. A man and a woman stand on a hillside in the right foreground. A man, a woman, and a small girl are near two barrels and a package on the shore below. Two small vessels are nearby. One boat has a sail and a flag with a double eagle on it. Additional boats, including a steamboat, are on the river in the background. The city is beyond, on the right bank of the river, surrounded by a wall or dike. Buildings include several churches and a large Gothic cathedral.
