DescriptionOblique view of three large academic buildings surrounded by grassy lawns, walks, and trees. The central building has a projecting central bay with a pediment and a cupola with a weathervane. Steps lead to a doorway on the right. All three buildings have brick chimneys. A board fence surrounds the lawn at the right. The fence around the college yard at the left appears to be constructed of stone pillars connected by rails. A man and a woman stand together inside the corner gate. At the left, two men in top hats and coats stand by the rail. A man on a horse rides towards the right. A man, woman, and dog are in the right foreground. Ruts are visible in the dirt road.
