DescriptionA group of over fifty men and women, all wearing overcoats or furs and hats, stand outside the north entrance to Sage-Allen Company on Main Street in Hartford. In each of the display windows on either side of the store entrance is a sign reading, "Sage-Allen & Co. FEBRUARY FURNITURE SALE". To the right of the display window on the right, the store's bronze plaque marker reading "SAGE-ALLEN COMPANY" is visible, attached to the store's exterior wall. To the immediate north of the Sage-Allen building, the "HENRY KOHN & SON" jewelry store is visible at 892 Main Street.
