DescriptionBronze-colored leather shoes, with a stacked Louis-style heel and oval toes. The toes are decorated with small cut steel beads, stitched in a half-snowflake design. The shoe upper is seamed only at the center back; the sides rise in short tabs over the instep, creating a circular opening above the toes. Wide, black silk ribbon ties are stitched to these tabs. (These ribbons do not appear to be original.) The throatline is bound with dark brown cotton tape. The quarters are lined with matching bronze leather; the vamp is lined with brown twill-woven cotton. The sock lining is brown leather. The sole is straight, with a narrow waist.
