DescriptionMan's vest of pale gray-lavender cotton woven with a diamond and streak design. The vest has a deep, narrow shawl collar forming a V-shaped neckline. The center front opening fastens with three studs (now missing). Both sides of the front are pointed, which forms a W-waistline edge. There is a breast pocket on the proper left side, and a 4 1/4-inch-wide pocket on each lower side. The backing fabric is white cotton sateen, as is the lining. The fit of the vest adjusts with a buckled strap across the lower back.
