DescriptionHomemade dress of salmon-pink cotton dotted Swiss material with lace trimming the Peter Pan-style collar, the tops of the sleeves and across the breast. The top of the dress is like a bolero or shrug and the lace fits in the area between the shaped breast pieces. The skirt is gathered. Back opening is closed suing snaps. Evidence of hand stitching around the curves of the bodice, the snaps, and the lace. Other seams are sewn on a machine. Made by the donor's mother Helen MacDonald.
