DescriptionMan's waistcoat of cream-colored satin, embroidered with dark metallic sequins and wire coils. The neckline is high and round, and the center front opening fastens with twelve self-covered buttons. The lower center front is cut away in a broad, inverted V, and the lower sides of the vest are flared to the back. The lower front edges are embroidered with sprays of flowers in the dark metallic sequins and wire coils. Some flower centers have a dome-shaped ornament of clear glass. There is a 6 1/2-inch-wide pocket flap covering a curved, slashed pocket on each lower front side. The pocket flap is also embroidered. The back and lining of the waistcoat is plain, undyed linen. The side seams and center back seams are vented for six to seven inches.
