DescriptionGroup portrait of Duke Ellington and his orchestra players. Duke wears a light-colored, double-breasted suit with light shirt and a white tie. Most of the players wear a suit with coattails, light shirt and bowties. The other men wear darker suits with dark ties. Some of the men wear light-colored handkerchiefs. A sign reading "DUKE ELLINGTON AND HIS FAMOUS ORCHESTRA" is visible on the large wall behind the group.
