DescriptionPhotograph of Walter Hubbard's Queen Anne house in Meriden, Connecticut. Three stories, stone foundation, brick siding in middle, and shingle siding on top of house. Round tower with dome on right corner. Covered entry porch next to tower. Two story brick wing with one door in middle. One chimney.

Walter Hubbard was the president of the Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co., in Meriden, Conn. “He was born September 23, 1828, in Middletown, Conn. In 1851, he opened a dry goods and clothing store in Meriden. In 1854, in partnership with his brother-in-law, N. L. Bradley, they founded Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co., which was incorporated in 1875. He was president of the Meriden Gas Light Company, the Meriden Electric Light Company, and the Meriden Trust & Safe Deposit Company."

Hubbard Park, in Meriden, was donated to the city by Walter Hubbard.
