DescriptionWhite plastic arm band with an elastic sewn between the two ends. The band is marked with a blue triangle (the sign of Civil Defense) with the Aetna logo in a circle within. On either side of the triangle are the letters C and D.
Blue twill broadcloth cap shaped like an overseas or garrison cap with a twill tape lining along the inner edge.
Issued to Aetna employees who were members of the Company Civil Defense Organization. Accompanied by a mimeographed memo from D.S. Somerville, Director of Civil Defense Planning, and an envelope with Aetna Life Insurance Company return address, with A. Wilson written across the front.
