DescriptionA wooden box, the lid split in two along the longer axis with staples holding together another split parallel to the first, small wire loops for hinges, and a wire loop into which a hook is slipped. Inside the box, which is lined on the bottom with green burlap, is a set of scales made of brass, accompanied by three cylindrical lead weights of various sizes, one cylindrical brass weight, two square brass weights imprinted with five cirles and a small square on both sides, five sticks of iron, a handwrought nail and a brass tack.
