DescriptionA paper billhead with the advertising printed in black ink and surrounded by a double printed border. The name of the purchaser, date, and the materials purchased are handwritten in black ink.

The entire inscription (both printed and handwritten) is as follows: "ZECHARIAH MILLS & Co. / MANUFACTURERS AND DEALERS IN / PAPER HANGINGS, / NEXT DOOR NORTH OF THE NEW MEETING HOUSE, HARTFORD. / Said MILLS & Co. execute the Manufacture of American Paper / Hangings largely. They can therefore at any time, furnish / dealers in that article on the best terms. / Hartford, 12th Decr 1811 / Mr. F. Levett / Bought of Zechariah Mills & Co. / 40 yds Borders at 10 Cts p yd $4.. / 15 Do Do at 20 cts $3.. / Received Payment $7.. / Zecha Mills & Co."
