DescriptionIn the interior of a barn, young men and women are taking part in a corn husking bee. Some are shucking corn. One man carries a basket of corn on his head. Some men and women are flirting or kissing. In the center, a young woman is struggling with a young man who is threatening her with an ear of corn. An elderly man and woman sit at the far right, looking on. Lanterns hang from the ceiling and at far right. Hay is piled in lofts at either side.
