DescriptionA woman rides sidesaddle on a large horse with an elaborate harness and bridle decorated with tassels. She wears what appears to be seventeenth-century or early eighteenth-century clothing, including a hat with a feather, a jacket, a vest, a shirt, and a skirt. She shields her eyes with her right hand. The horse appears to have ribbons braided in its main. Trees and shrubs line the path on which she rides. Fields or pastures are in the right background.
