DescriptionInfant's dress of white cotton, with a wide, square neckline controlled by drawstrings. The short sleeves are gathered at the shoulder. The openings are scalloped and embroidered in whitework. The waist is high. The skirt is stitched smoothly into the waist across the front and is gathered across the back. The opening extends for the length of the center back; it is scalloped and embroidered with dots. The hem is also scalloped and embroidered with dots; additionally, it has embroidery resembling a scallop shell above each cut scallop.
