DescriptionInfant or toddler's slip, with a cream-colored wool flannel skirt gathered to a plain white cotton sleeveless bodice. The low, round neckline and armhole edges are bound with white cotton on the bias. The skirt has a 1/2-inch tuck taken around it, about mid-way down the length. The bottom edge is scalloped and finished with a buttonhole stitch in cream-colored silk floss. Leaf-like sprigs are embroidered in satin stitch above the scalloped edge. The center back is open for ten inches. It fastens with two mother of pearl buttons on the bodice.
