DescriptionSmall child's slip of white cotton, with the skirt gathered into a plain bodice. The neckline is low and round; this and the armholes are edged with machine-made bobbin lace. The full skirt is ornamented with an insertion of handmade torchon lace. The bottom is edged with a self-fabric ruffle trimmed with scalloped torchon lace. The center back of the slip opens for about twelve inches and fastens with four mother of pearl buttons on the bodice.
