DescriptionMen in winter clothing stand on paving in front of a brick firehouse. Some have beards or mustaches. They wear wool or cotton coats, caps, boots and badges. One man holds a lantern. One holds a snow shovel. Coils of cloth fire hose are on a small sleigh. Men hold ropes attached to the sleigh. Metal letters on the building read: "Hope / 2."
