DescriptionStudio portrait of a man with a mustache wearing a policeman's uniform, including a beaked cap, a badge and brass buttons. The insignia on his cap reads: "Sergeant / Police."

NotesSubject Note: Patrick J. Finley served for thirty years with the Hartford Police Department. He was promoted to sergeant in 1904 but reduced to patrolman in 1916. He was reinstated after the charges were reexamined in 1918 and he retired in 1919. He died in 1931 at the age of sixty-six.
