DescriptionA frame building on a dirt road has numerous broadsides posted on its basement. Some of these read: "ALLYN HALL / WEEK OF / OCT 29" "A New Life of / NAPOLEON / Is now beginning in / THE CENTURY / MAGAZINE" "MARIE ANTOINETTE" "ELKER'S BUCKWHEAT" "CARRIE TURNER". The building is in dilapidated condition. A small sign on the corner reads: "H.D. / DELORNE / & CO. / HORSE / SHOEING / WORK / DONE / IN THE BEST / MANNER." Large windows on the top floor may reflect its former use as Steward's Museum. Laundry hanging on a clothesline at the left suggests that this building or adjoining buildings may have served as a multiple-family dwelling. A wagon is nearby. A leafless tree is in the background. A picket fence is in the right foreground.
