DescriptionSpectators sit in temporary wooden bleachers on the west side of Connecticut Boulevard. A wooden barrier and a picket fence separate the seating from the street. Some people hold American flags. A decoration with electric lights is at the left. Sections are numbered "C" "D" and "E." A sign reads: "Press / Stand." Policemen in uniforms and helmets stand near the sidewalk. Utility poles are decorated with American flags and banners.
NotesSubject Note: The Bulkeley Bridge opened to trolley traffic on December 8, 1907 and to the general public on December 21, 1907. The dedication of the bridge was the occasion of a three-day celebration on October 6,7, and 8, 1908.
