DescriptionCovered bridge on stone abutments. A sign at the entrance reads: "To see Bargains in Mulcahy's Window - Walk your Horses." Numerous utility poles carry wires across the river and along the street. A chicken wire fence is beside the Connecticut River. The river has ice on it. Lumber is piled beside the fence.
NotesSubject Note: The covered bridge across the Connecticut River at Hartford was constructed in 1818. It was destroyed by fire on May 17, 1895.
